- Associate Commercial Real Estate Attorney
Description
Lawton Whiteman Law is seeking an associate commercial real estate attorney. In this role you will draft real estate documents, review and resolve title matters, analyze due diligence items, manage closings, prepare and review homeowners' association documents, and advise clients in connection with real estate and related legal matters. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the heart of Delray Beach, Florida, requiring collaboration with clients, colleagues, title companies, and title agents to ensure the successful completion of commercial real estate land and lot acquisitions and development of residential communities through Florida. The preferred candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in real estate law, the ability to draft and negotiate documents relating to commercial real estate transactions, experience with reviewing and resolving title matters and conducting commercial closings, and/or experience drafting, reviewing, analyzing and negotiating homeowners association documents. Experience with large-scale homebuilder projects and/or homeowners' association law is a plus. The applicant should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team. The ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow up with other team members to complete projects timely is also essential.
