Homeowners Association (HOA) Manager
55+ Active Adult Community | 525 Units | Hemet, California
Come join our community leadership team at Mountain Shadows RV Resort. We are a well-established 55+ homeowners association with 525 homes, and we are seeking an experienced, professional, and community-minded HOA Manager to help guide and support our daily operations. This is more than a management role — it is an opportunity to be part of a vibrant, active adult community where relationships, communication, and teamwork truly matter. The HOA Manager serves as the operational partner to the Board of Directors, providing steady leadership, thoughtful problem-solving, and professional oversight of association operations, vendors, finances, and homeowner relations.
Primary Responsibilities
Oversee and guide the day-to-day operations of the 525-unit HOA community.
Implement and support policies established by the Board of Directors.
Serve as the primary liaison between homeowners, Board members, and vendors.
Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects.
Supervise office staff and support a positive team environment.
Collaborate with financial service providers to ensure accurate reporting and budgeting.
Assist with preparation of annual budgets and reserve planning.
Prepare Board meeting materials and provide operational updates.
Ensure compliance with governing documents and applicable California HOA laws.
Respond professionally and thoughtfully to homeowner concerns and inquiries.
Oversee vendor contracts and maintain service quality standards.

Qualifications
3–5 years of HOA or property management experience preferred.
Experience working collaboratively with Boards of Directors.
Strong understanding of HOA governance and operational best practices.
Financial literacy including budgeting and vendor oversight.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Professional demeanor well-suited to a 55+ active adult community.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary and benefits will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
Salary Range: $75,000 to $85,000
Benefits Offered: Paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, 401(k), education
Additional Compensation Details: Compensation in lieu of health insurance.
