Description

Farmers Union Mutual Insurance Company, a Montana domiciled insurance carrier providing Homeowners, Farm, and Commercial coverage, is seeking a Director of Product Management to join our team. The Director of Product Management is responsible for the strategic development, management, rate analysis and system implementation of our Home, Farm and Commercial insurance products for the state of Montana.  This role requires a leader with an expertise in multiple line risks and coverages and a proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.  The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic thinking, strong analytical skills and working knowledge of the legal environment in Montana.  

Requirements

• Partner with senior leadership to define the product vision and ensure alignment with broader organizational objectives.
• Responsible for all phases of research, development and maintenance of coverage forms for Homeowners, Farm and Commercial.
• Oversee the implementation of the insurance products into the Policy Administration System.
• Provide leadership on pricing, competitive intelligence and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with technology, marketing, actuarial, claims and underwriting to ensure successful and accurate product implementation and maintenance.
• Oversee the facultative treaty insurance carrier relationships for the Homeowners, Farm and Commercial lines of business. 
• Follow industry trends, legislative changes, and emerging opportunities to inform and implement product strategies.
• Ensure all product initiatives comply with insurance regulations and proactively address changes in the regulatory landscape.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including carrier partners, reinsurance, product vendors and regulatory bodies.
• Offer subject matter expertise and advisory support to internal teams.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and updates to senior management and other key stakeholders.
