To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who has experience of working in a Fund of Fund, Fund of Hedge Fund, Multi-Manager or Hedge Fund type of business, and has gained exposure to NAV processes, in either a production or oversight role that also includes trade reconciliation and processing, and cash/liquidity management. It is deemed favourable to have VBA or Python skills and can demonstrate experience of improving processes and operational efficiencies (maybe even built our Risk metrics/dashboards), and a wider appreciation of what happens in the background (fund documentation, legal structures, and administration processes).

Working in small team, you will gain access to an incredibly varied role, but to also directly help the Operations Manager with many projects and initiatives due to the substantial growth in the firm. However, your primary responsibility is to ensure accurate shadow NAV accounting, review administrator prepared NAVs, and address year-end audit queries. This also includes fund reconciliations, assist with cash & liquidity management analysis, investment trade bookings, investor subscription and redemption monitoring and processing, investor, regulatory & compliance reporting.
