Über das Unternehmen- Our client is an international insurance company
Aufgaben
- Oversee the alignment of local financial statements with IFRS and Solvency II standards, ensuring compliance with Group guidelines. This includes reconciling and documenting results and integrating findings into ongoing processes
- Provide guidance and support to both domestic and international subsidiaries on content-related and procedural aspects of the reporting package
- Act as a subject matter expert for IFRS and Solvency II, ensuring the quality and accuracy of reporting data at Group level and serving as the primary contact for external auditors
- Lead and contribute to accounting-related projects, as well as cross-functional initiatives-particularly those connected to IFRS 17, which has been implemented across the Group for three years. This involves maintaining close collaboration with subsidiaries through regular workshops and on-site visits
- Participate in mergers and acquisitions, including post-merger integration activities
Profil
- A completed university degree in economics or business mathematics, ideally with an international orientation and a focus on external (Group) accounting, auditing or insurance
- Relevant professional experience in a similar role are required
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards (preferably IFRS 17 for insurance) and Solvency II reporting requirements. Additional expertise in areas such as actuarial topics, taxation, pension liabilities, or investment management is a plus
- Strong proficiency in SAP systems-especially SEM-BCS-and confident use of standard Office applications
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to break down and clearly present complex accounting topics both verbally and visually
- High level of commitment, strong communication abilities, and a proactive, responsible approach to work
- Willingness to travel internationally for subsidiary visits or due diligence projects (short stays of several days and occasional longer assignments of 1-2 weeks)
- Fluent English skills are mandatory; proficiency in Chinese is desirable
