Unleash your expertise in product development and optimization by leveraging user research, analyzing metrics, and collaborating across one of the world's most innovative financial organizations.As a Senior Product Associate in the Home Lending Servicing team, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings.
Job responsibilities
- Drive product discovery and opportunity identification informed by user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to reflect customer and market needs.
- Plan upstream and downstream impacts of new features to ensure a cohesive end‑to‑end product experience.
- Define and maintain product artifacts: write requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria; document new and modified functionality for stakeholders.
- Own end‑to‑end feature delivery from ideation through implementation, maintenance, and support, including management of production issues.
- Lead agile execution at scale: manage multiple scrum teams/projects, guide direct reports through the lifecycle, and set priorities aligned to the Product Goal.
- Track and analyze product metrics (time, cost, quality) across the development lifecycle and produce Monthly Business Review updates for leadership.
- Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders (product, architecture, LRCC, legal, risk, operations, design, technology) and serve as SME on key processes and applications.
- Manage the Payments Book of Work to plan, execute, and track initiatives aligned with organizational goals and timelines; ensure business readiness.
- Conduct discovery and research to identify requirements, risks, and improvement opportunities; plan and execute comprehensive testing and production validation.
- Maintain Jira hygiene: create and update epics and DSTs; ensure accurate, current project documentation.
- Close the feedback loop and communicate proactively: review and respond to "Send us Feedback" inputs; keep leaders and teams informed on decisions, issues, and actions.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
- Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Operate in a collaborative and cooperative environment, leveraging strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues across business and technology teams.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, exhibiting excellent oral and written communication skills with a preference for backgrounds in mortgage operations, sales, risk, or underwriting
- Solve problems logically and analytically, synthesizing data and project outcomes while effectively eliciting and defining problem statements.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail and work independently, utilizing strong time management skills to deliver results with urgency.
- Focus on client and customer needs, conducting research and analysis to inform decision-making and a technical background is considered a plus
- Demonstrate proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and related applications
