POSITION SUMMARY
The Airlines Clearing House (ACH) is seeking a seasoned and strategic Manager of Revenue Accounting to lead its revenue accounting operations. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of interline revenue transactions among member airlines. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, strong leadership skills and a commitment to operational excellence.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs and/or oversees daily operations related to the various settlements conducted by ACH to ensure timely, accurate and complete settlements
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP and industry standards.
- Prepare and review financial reports and statements related to ACH operations.
- Manage audits, reconciliations and resolution of revenue discrepancies.
- Drive process improvements and support finance transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with member airlines, regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
- Identify and implement improvements to revenue accounting processes and systems.
- Support finance transformation initiatives and automation efforts.
- Ensures Business Continuity Plans are current and adhered to.
- Reviews and ensures content on ACH website and LinkedIn site are current and accurate.
- Responsible for all aspects of onboarding of new customers.
- Assists in planning and executing all aspects related to annual ACH meeting.
- Participation in industry working groups as needed.
- Occasional travel required.
Requirements
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA preferred).
- 10 years of experience in revenue accounting, preferably in the airline industry.
- Strong understanding of interline billing and settlement processes.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Cash management or banking experience preferred, but not required
- Proficient in accounting systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
If approved by the department supervisor, A4A employees have the option to work from home on Fridays. Flexibility may be provided to adjust this schedule based on workload and external commitments.
SALARY INFORMATION
The annual salary range for this position is $105,000 to $120,000. New hires are typically brought in between the minimum and midpoint of the range, depending on experience, qualifications and internal equity.
