As a key member of the Gogo Finance organization, the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting, will lead critical accounting functions within a mature, publicly-traded company undergoing significant transformation through acquisition integration and operational scale. This position offers the opportunity to develop and lead a high-performing accounting team while owning complex corporate accounting areas that are foundational to accurate reporting and strong financial controls.
You will partner closely with cross-functional leaders across Finance, Legal, HR, Treasury and Operations, contributing to process standardization, internal control effectiveness and the successful integration of acquired businesses. This position offers high visibility within the organization and opportunity to influence scalable, best-in-class accounting practices in a dynamic, regulated environment.

How will you make a difference?
- Own key corporate accounting areas, including expense accruals, equity compensation, debt, and other complex balance sheet and P&L accounts
- Manage the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial results in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including preparation and review of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives to enhance scalability, accuracy, and close efficiency
- Ensure strong internal controls over financial reporting, including SOX compliance, control design, documentation, and remediation of deficiencies
- Serve as a primary point of contact for external and internal auditors
- Lead and develop a team of corporate accounting professionals, providing oversight, coaching, and performance management across close and reporting activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, CPA required
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles in a public company and/or Big 4 environment
Required Skills, Talents, & Experience
- Strong expertise in expense accounting and accruals, including complex estimate, allocations, and judgmental reserves
- Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP with the ability to research and apply technical accounting guidance to complex transactions
- Proven people leader with experience managing and developing accounting teams through monthly and quarterly close cycles
- Track record of process improvement and scalability, including close optimization and system enhancements
- Excellent communication and judgement, with the ability to explain complex accounting topics to non-accounting stakeholders
