Role Description
We’re seeking a Closing Coordinator to manage the title closing process from scheduling to closing. This is a fast-paced role where attention to detail and strong communication skills are key. The Closing Coordinator is the main point of contact for all parties involved in the transaction and is responsible for ensuring closings are completed smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate real estate closings, including scheduling and preparing and distributing title invoices.
- Review title commitments, payoff statements, tax searches for accuracy.
- Prepare and finalize closing packages, affidavits and title policies.
- Communicate with attorneys, lenders and clients to ensure smooth closings.
- Schedule and coordinate with title closers leading up to the closing and on the day of the closing.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in title insurance or real estate closings.
- Knowledge of title policies, endorsements, closing documents and general NY real estate practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines.
- Familiarity with title software (TrackerPro preferred) and MS Office.
