The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for daily maintenance operations of the assigned facility. This includes staffing, providing training and developing preventative maintenance programs and updated operations manuals as needed. He/she also acts as a liaison with the community.

Job Scope:
Directly supervised volunteers, employees, and contract professionals for the cleaning and maintenance of the assigned facility. Responsible for the preparation, administration and monitoring of the maintenance budget.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
1. A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technologies or related field is required; at the discretion of the Department, 6 years of direct experience may be substituted for 4-year degree, or a combination of education & experience may be considered.
2. Minimum of three (3) years’ increasingly responsible management experience required; and,
3. Minimum of three (3) years experience in a leadership position preferred; and,
4. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in construction, maintenance, repair, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC or related field preferred; and,
5. Basic first aid, AED and CPR certification required within three (3) months of date of hire.
6. Ability to acquire Aquatic Facility Operator’s (AFO) certification within one year of date of hire required.
