Position Overview
We are looking for a high-performing Accounting Manager who wants more than just tax compliance work. This is an opportunity to step into a visible, client-facing role advising professional athletes, content creators, entrepreneurs, and other high-net-worth individuals. You’ll play a key role in growing client relationships and work directly with clients and other decision-makers to influence tax strategy, participate in long-term financial planning, and provide them with day-to-day financial support. What You’ll Do
- Act as a trusted advisor to high-profile clients
- Prepare budgets and present annual financial reviews to clients
- Coordinate tax filing and compliance for individuals and closely held businesses
- Identify tax savings opportunities and proactively bring ideas to clients
- Prepare and distribute monthly financial reporting and spending updates
- Perform daily bookkeeping for clients’ personal and business accounts
- Process invoices and payment requests on an ongoing basis

Requirements
Qualifications
- Active CPA license (non-negotiable)
- 7–10 years of public accounting experience
- Strong tax background across individuals, S-corps, and partnerships
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients
- Ability to think beyond compliance and provide strategic insight
- Strong client presence and communication skills
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Experience with tax compliance for professional athletes including Duty Day calculations and non-resident/spilt-year state returns
- Financial planning experience, especially with a CFP ® certification
- Management experience including detail review and staff training & development
