Walnut Valley Water District is excited to announce that it’s accepting applications for the Accounting Technician I.

WVWD is seeking a dedicated individual to join the team as an Accounting Technician I. In this position, you’ll become a pivotal part of Walnut Valley Water District’s accounting department. You’ll perform a variety of assignments in the areas of accounts payable, including support assignments for the District’s purchasing and inventory functions.

The first review period will be May 28th, 2026. Applications submitted after the first review date will be considered on an as-needed basis. Deadline to apply is June 5th, 2026.

Requirements

REQUIRED (Certification, Licenses & Experience)

High School graduation or equivalent supplemented by college-level coursework in accounting or related curriculum.

Up to one year of experience in performing accounting-related duties or maintaining financial records, and general office experience
