Cherry Hill Outdoor Landscape and Design is a growing Twin Cities landscape company focused on high quality outdoor spaces. We provide landscape design, landscape build and installation, lawn care, irrigation, outdoor living projects, and snow management.
We are a licensed contractor and BBB accredited company with a strong local reputation. Our larger outdoor living and landscape construction projects typically range from $25,000 to $100,000 plus, with smaller projects and focused upgrades also part of our business.
We are looking for an experienced sales professional who can meet with homeowners, understand their needs, sell quality work, protect margins, and hand projects off clearly to operations.
This is not an order taking role. We need someone who can build trust, qualify real opportunities, follow up, close work, and help customers feel confident choosing Cherry Hill.
Cherry Hill Outdoor Landscape and Design is looking for an experienced sales professional who can meet with homeowners, sell quality landscape and outdoor living projects, protect margin, and hand work off clearly to operations.
We generate strong inbound demand during peak season, often averaging 5 to 7 new inquiries per day, but we need a disciplined sales professional who can qualify the right opportunities, protect margin, and close profitable work.
What You’ll Do
- Meet with homeowners and property owners for onsite consultations
- Sell landscape, hardscape, irrigation, drainage, lawn renovation, and outdoor living projects
- Help customers understand options, scope, timing, and budget
- Prepare clear proposals and estimates
- Follow up consistently with leads and open proposals
- Close profitable work, not just more work
- Communicate clearly with the operations team before work begins
- Help manage customer expectations from first meeting through project handoff
- Identify change order opportunities when scope changes
- Use CRM, estimating, and job management tools as required
- Build referral and repeat business over time
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Sales experience in landscape, hardscape, outdoor living, construction, remodeling, home improvement, irrigation, pools, decks, fencing, roofing, siding, or similar trades
- Ability to sell projects in the $25,000 plus range
- Strong communication and follow up skills
- Comfortable talking about budget, scope, timing, and decision making
- Able to build trust with homeowners
- Organized enough to manage multiple leads and proposals at the same time
- Understands that gross margin matters
- Willing to work closely with operations and not oversell or under scope jobs
- Valid driver’s license required
- CRM or LMN experience preferred
Strong Fit
This role may be a good fit if you have sold:
- Landscape design and build projects
- Patios, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, fire features, lighting, or planting projects
Decks, fences, pools, remodeling, roofing, siding, or other residential home improvement work - Irrigation, drainage, turf, or lawn renovation projects
- You do not need to know every part of landscaping on day one, but you do need to know how to sell professionally, qualify customers, follow up, and protect the company from bad deals.
